Rain gear, check. Waterproof boots, check. Bagged lunch and snacks, check. Mosquito head net and repellant, check.
As my group arrived at the check in area eagerly awaiting Denali Backcountry Lodge’s first challenging hike of the season, I couldn’t help but smile with anticipation. A small intimate group, just the way you want it. By the time we had crossed over Moose Creek to the edge of the property, our group had felt like we had known each other for years.
