Our Traditional Denali Backcountry Safari begins with your arrival at the Denali Cabins, nestled snuggly in the Boreal Forest. A comfortably appointed Cedar Cabin will greet you warmly from your lively trip to the park area. Dinner at Prey Bar & Eatery and a relaxing dip in an outdoor hot tub will finish your first day. Stuff yourself with an early morning Continental Breakfast before boarding our morning bus for the Denali Backcountry Adventure. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery while your driver/guide provides an interesting and informative narration, and helps you search for wildlife. Sightings of bear, moose, and caribou are all common on this adventurous journey to our exclusive Denali Backcountry Lodge. Once you arrive in Kantishna for a grand buffet lunch and an afternoon activity, slow down and relax in the reality of miles of wilderness that surrounds you. An enjoyable family style dinner will end a great day at Denali Backcountry Lodge.
Wake up refreshed and begin your day at the Lodge after a scrumptious breakfast. Sample the numerous activities at the Lodge from hiking, mountain biking, gold panning, Natural History programs, Wonder Lake shuttles to simply relaxing in the Natural History Lounge or gazebos. Treasure the majestic beauty of Denali National Park with an optional flight seeing tour of Denali.
Enjoy an all-you can-eat buffet lunch and get on board the afternoon bus back to the Park Entrance for another chance to see the wildlife of Denali. Upon your arrival at Denali Cabins, enjoy dinner at Prey Bar & Eatery and make yourself comfortable as you settle back into your cabin. After breakfast, the morning is free to get in some last minute optional activities in the area. Connect with your shuttle, motor coach or train to next Alaska destination and continue on your next Alaska adventure.
